May

In early May, we will send an email to your NYU email address with a link to the Getting Started Guide. The Guide is a comprehensive, self-directed tool designed to help begin your student journey at Wagner. It includes details about reviewing your degree requirements, registering for the correct first term course plan, and utilizing resources for getting started. It is the first step in the Orientation Over Time process.

Registering for First-Term Course Plan

Registration for new students will begin on May 8, so you should complete the Getting Started Guide in advance of registering for your First Term Course Plan.

Weekly Class Times

Live class sessions are held from 7:00-8:00pm and/or 8:30-9:30pm on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

Key Dates and Times

Wagner 101

The mandatory Wagner 101 session in mid-August will elaborate on your school support network, introduce you to important resources at Wagner and NYU, and discuss how to prepare for the beginning of classes. This will also be your first opportunity to meet the Wagner staff and faculty as well as interact with your classmates. Details will be in the Getting Started Guide.

Immersion

All students attend an in-person, two-and-a-half-day course in New York City in their second term of the Online MHA program. For students who started the MHA program in Fall 2024, immersion will take place February 2025.
